This page explains the cookies CleanSlate uses on this website and in the CleanSlate app, what each one does, and how to change your mind at any time. Our Privacy Policy covers everything else we do with your personal information.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Some are needed to make a site work at all. Others are optional and help the people who run the site see how it is being used.
We only set optional cookies if you say yes. Saying no does not change what you can do here.
Our Privacy Policy explains everything else we do with personal information, and our Terms and Conditions set out the rules for using the Service.
2. What we record if you say yes
We want to be straightforward about this, because it goes further than counting visits.
If you accept the optional cookies, we record how you move through the pages. That means the path you take, where you click and scroll, and where you stop. We use it to find the places where people get stuck, so we can fix them.
We ask the company that does this for us to hide anything you type, so we do not see the details you enter into forms. Nothing of this kind happens unless you say yes, and you can change your mind at any time.

Nothing is stored on your device before you choose. Once you do, we save your choice. The optional cookies below are only set if you accept them.

We set the optional cookies with your consent. The cookie that stores your choice does not need consent, because it exists to record what you chose, and the one that keeps you signed in does not need it either, because without it the app cannot work.
4. Cookie settings
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the control below. If you have JavaScript turned off it will not appear. In that case use your browser settings, as described in section 6.
Your choice covers both this website and the CleanSlate app, because we store it against the address they share. We will ask again after six months, or sooner if we start using different cookies.
5. Who else sees this information
The optional cookies are set by Google (Google Analytics) and Microsoft (Microsoft Clarity), who handle the information for us. Both may handle it outside the UK, including in the United States. Our contracts with them require the same level of protection.
If you say no, Microsoft Clarity does not load and nothing is recorded. Google is still told a page was opened, but without cookies: nothing is saved on your device and we cannot tell it was you again. Your device address is still processed so that the page can load and be counted.
If you later withdraw your consent, we delete the optional cookies listed above and stop recording. Microsoft Clarity may also set cookies on its own domains, which only Microsoft can remove. Its privacy notice explains how.
We load Google Tag Manager, which decides which of the above run, on every visit. It sets no cookies of its own.
We do not sell your information and we do not use any of this for advertising.
6. Controlling cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of this or any other site from working properly. Deleting cookies also deletes the one that remembers your choice, so we will ask you again on your next visit.
7. Changes to this policy
If we start using different cookies, we will update this page and ask for your choice again. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised.
